Biog

My career in the music industry started out in 1999 as a sound engineer for one of Scotland’s biggest radio stations, working my way up from the bottom and and learning the technical aspects of broadcasting, recording and djing. However, as much as I enjoyed the job I was doing, I soon realised my passion lay in the art of djing itself rather than the behind the scenes aspect, and after purchasing a set of Gemini turntables, I made it my ambition to become a professional DJ. After practising and messing about on the decks for a few years, I was finally offered my first big break in a popular, trendy bar in the heart of Glasgow city centre. I was soon being offered more and more gigs, constantly learning and developing as a DJ.

After a working trip to Ibiza in 2001, I became infatuated with house music. I had the pleasure of recording sets from legends such as Dave Seamen, Steve Lawler, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo & many many more. This insight into this hypnotic style of music convinced me that my future lay in house music.

My love of house is the same today, and even more evolved than when I was introduced to it for the first time in Ibiza all those years ago. To date I have had the opportunity to DJ at some amazing gigs, including a warm up for K-Klass in 2005, and held many exciting residencies, including a Friday night residency alongside Superecordings driving force, Geoff M at Glasgow’s original superclub (The Tunnel). I have also dj’d around  the world, including four residencies in Syndey, Australia. However the gigs that will last a lifetime in memories include performing at Global Gathering, Creamfields & Homelands. Most DJs can only dream of the opportunity to dj at some of the these electronic music festivals, some of the biggest in the world.
So now my journey brings me to Ibiza. For me, the most special place on the earth, and a place I now call home.

Mi encanta Eivissa
